Somewhere in a drawer is a sketch nobody ever built. A marketplace for those is coming. Every idea arrives sealed, nothing leaves the vault until the person who thought of it gets paid, and no patent is required to walk through the door. The greatest inventions of the next decade are already written down. They're just sitting in the wrong hands.

assets/hero.jpgEst. for the ideas that never got built
You had the idea. You didn't have the ten years, the capital, the workshop, or the patience. Somebody else does. List it here, keep it sealed, and get paid when the right person opens it.
No patent required at Tier I. Every buyer is ID-checked and under NDA before anything is unsealed.
Denominations
What you bring determines what a buyer will pay. Most sellers start at Tier I and never move — that's fine, Tier I is the whole point of this place.

Titles and categories are public. Everything else stays blacked out. Two gates stand in front of the detail: a photo-ID check confirming you're a real adult, then a mutual NDA signed in the exact name on that ID. Clear both once and every listing on the site opens for you.

Order of operations
Describe the idea plainly. We timestamp the submission and give it a serial number the day it lands.
The title and category go public. The description, drawings, and your name stay blacked out.
Photo ID and a selfie, checked for age and identity. Then they sign the NDA in that same verified name, or it doesn't count.
You can accept, counter, or ignore it. Nothing moves without you clicking accept.
Payment is held until the assignment is signed by both sides, then released. We take 8% of the sale.
List an idea
Write it the way you'd explain it to a friend in a driveway. You don't need the right words for it, and you don't need to have protected it.
Anything already assigned to an employer, anything sold elsewhere, and anything that's a business plan rather than an invention. We'll tell you within two days either way.
Everything, until you accept an offer. Pulling a listing takes one click and the signed NDAs stay in force afterward.
Straight answers
Yes — that's Tier I. What changes hands is the concept, your written description, and a signed assignment saying you won't pursue it or sell it again. Buyers at this tier are paying for a head start and for the fact that you thought of it first, not for enforceable IP. They know that going in, and it's reflected in the price.
The NDA every buyer signs before viewing, which names your listing and is logged with a timestamp, their identity, and their IP address. It doesn't make theft impossible — nothing does — but it makes it traceable and expensive. If you want stronger footing than that, file a provisional first and list at Tier III.
Because an NDA signed by "John Smith" with no John Smith behind it is worth nothing. Every buyer runs a photo-ID and selfie check through Profile18 first — it confirms you're 18 or over and pulls the legal name off the document. The NDA then has to be signed in that exact name, which is what makes it enforceable against a real person if a seller ever needs it to be. The ID images are held by the verifier, not by us, and sellers only ever see your name.
No. Signing is free and one-time. Once it's on file, every sealed listing on the site opens for you, and it stays in force for five years on everything you've viewed.
You set the asking price. If you have no idea what to ask, submit anyway and leave the price blank — we'll suggest a range based on what comparable listings in that category have closed at.
8% of the sale price, charged to the seller, only when an idea sells. Listing is free, and there's no fee for browsing or for signing the NDA.
No. Sales here are exclusive assignments. Once you accept an offer, the listing closes and you're out of it.
Step 1 of 2 · Required first
Before anything is unsealed we confirm you're a real, adult person. You'll upload a government ID and take a selfie. Profile18 runs the check — most clear in about a minute, and the few that need a human get an email when they're through.
Checking your ID…
A verification window opened. Finish the ID and selfie there — this page updates on its own.
Step 2 of 2 · Signed as your verified name
1. Confidential material means any description, drawing, specification, or seller identity revealed through a sealed listing on Greenback Idea.
2. You agree not to disclose it to anyone outside your organization, and not to develop, file for, manufacture, or commercialize a product derived from it unless you purchase the listing through this marketplace.
3. This does not cover anything you can show you already knew, already had in development, or that is public knowledge. You may state so in writing within 14 days of viewing.
4. Obligations last five years from the date you view a listing.
5. This agreement is bound to the verified identity above. Signing in any other name voids it.
6. Your signature, verification reference, timestamp, and IP address are recorded and shared with the seller of each listing you open.
Cleared
Every sealed listing is now readable for this session. Your NDA is on file with each seller whose idea you open.
